Biography

Denver, Colorado is a melting pot of sun, snow, rivers, and concrete.  Record Thieves have found a way to embody these elements as a vessel to allure you high over the Rockies with colorful melodies only to slam you back down face first on the jagged rocks of reality.  After crawling through the bowels of the Covid-19 pandemic, Record Thieves came together to deliver a vision of hope to a hurting world.

Their breakout album “Wasting Time” released by Thousand Islands Records, is a series of bold and unapologetic anthems that have become a source of addiction to many of the band’s loyal following.  “It’s a telling tale of our own struggles of understanding and accepting the challenges of life within the anxieties of an uncertain future.” – Mike Waterhouse

The 5 piece, consisting of Jim Wilcox (Authority Zero), Mike Waterhouse (Boldtype), Allen White, Matt Zimmerschied, and Chad Gilbert (Allout Helter) have empowered themselves and their audience to become a positive force that society so desperately needs. That leadership has helped them make sense of the God-awful times we have all been put through individually and collectively over the last several years and continues to be a testament to their maturity and talent as artists.
